So far, I haven't had good luck with Dr. Kim. My PCP referred me because he's the only rheumatologist on my insurance plan. Went in with numbers that indicate lupus and RA. He told me my numbers aren't high enough to warrant treatment. After I begged for help, he sent me for x-rays that show damage. He said they're not bad enough to be meaningful. My numbers went up to the levels he said were required for treatment, but then he said they need to be even higher. Keeps making me come back and pay high copays just to offer NO help for serious levels of pain and movement difficulty. After 6 months of this nonsense, my PCP is super frustrated with him too and says he probably just doesn't want to admit he's wrong.
