Dr. Jingyi He, MD

My daughter needed have four wisdom teeth removed and we choose Dr. He based on stellar reviews of other patients. Her practice (herself as well as her staff) is truly stellar, and is among the very best of medical profession (not just dentistry) we have ever experienced. The office staff were always courteous, friendly, helpful, and efficient, from appointments to visits. Dr. He is the exemplar of “bedside manners” for a physician – superb especially if you have a pediatric patient. She is kind and patient, she listens and explains the procedures really well. She connects easily with patients and family members. The oral surgery day was very efficient and on time. They were very careful in explaining the process ahead of time to my daughter, and then provided excellent and compassionate care after she woke up from the procedure. The surgical skills and post-op care were superb. My daughter had minimal to modest discomfort, very little pain, and recovered in less than a week. I’ve had at least four other oral surgeons for comparison, and Dr. He is above and beyond the best oral surgeon we’ve ever met. We highly, highly recommend Dr. He’s practice for any patient, especially families with children/teens.

I am just adding my compliments (consistent with all the other reviewers) for Dr. Jingyi He and the office. Dr. He is truly the embodiment of exceptional surgical skills integrated with exceptional bedside manners. Both my daughters went to her for evaluation, and she found that one of them did not need surgery (contrary to the dentist's recommendation, to our relief), and the other did. How great Dr. He is can be best understood in contrast with our previous experience with a different oral surgeon (who is also highly recommended, in greater Boston area, but turned out to be very disappointing and harmdful). Here's a side by side: Dr. He connected so easily with patients, listened to them, and explained well. The other surgeon's manner and explanation is at best "surgical" - in the cold/unfeeling sense. Dr. He and her staff takes great care to calm the patient on the day of surgery, making it easy and light and predictable. The other surgeon, even when asked, explained very little. When the patient is coming out of anesthesia, Dr. He and her staff is right there, conversing and helping her to get her bearings. The other surgeon and staff left the patient alone, confused and dazed. Dr. He's skill and care is evident, as there was no complications for the four-wisdom-teeth removal, minimal pain, mild discomfort, and recovery in less than a week. The other surgeon - the tooth bed became swollen and infected, and a second (equally cold and surgical) visit became necessary. We couldn't recommend Dr. He highly enough - she's the true example of what a pediatric oral surgeon can be.
