I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty done by Dr. Kopelman which left me with horrific results, unsightly scars, and daily chronic pain. This has affected my job, drastically deteriorated my quality of life and is causing me great mental and emotional turmoil. After surgery, I am left with a tugging pain when opening and closing my eyes. My eyelids are asymmetrical, deep set, and has creepy skin. My lower right eyelid is now hollow due to excessive fat removal, my lower left eyelid bag is now more prominent than before surgery, and the scars on my eyelids are visibly way above where the crease folds. I've been back to his office communicating my concerns but his ego and greed will not allow him to admit anything went wrong with the surgery. When I voiced my concerns about the prominent visible scars, he said it was because i wanted a high eyelid crease and for the deep set asymmetrical eyelids, he said it was just my anatomy. I am appalled by his deflection, his unapologetic, unsympathetic and dismissive behavior as Dr. Kopelman is an oculofacial plastic surgeon who specializes in this area and is the reason why I chose him over the other plastic surgeons. More importantly, I now have chronic eye pain and severe dry eyes which I never had prior to this surgery where I will have to spend additional money I Do Not have to seek an eye specialists for my issues, medications, and treatments. Putting my trust and faith in Dr. Kopelman has been the worse experience and regret of my life! Don’t let it be yours!!

I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty done by Dr. Kopelman. I do not write negative reviews but feel it is important to share my horrific life changing experience I went through with Dr. Kopelman and the struggles and complications I now have. Since the surgery, I am left with a tugging pain when opening and closing my eyes. My eyelids are asymmetrical, deep set, and has creepy skin. My lower right eyelid is now hollow due to excessive fat removal where he created a permanent dark bag and my lower left eyelid bag is now more prominent. The scars on my eyelids are highly visible way above where the crease folds. I have been back to his office many times communicating my concerns. His ego and greed will not allow him to admit anything went wrong with the surgery. In addition and more importantly, I now have chronic pain and severe dry eyes which i never had prior to this surgery. This has affected my job and drastically deteriorated my quality of life. Dr. Kopelman says he has no idea why I'm having these issues. His unapologetic behavior and illogical answers are appalling as I never imagined I would have these issues and results as Dr. Kopelman is an oculofacial plastic surgeon who specializes in this area and is the reason why I selected him over the other plastic surgeons. When I voiced my concerns about the prominent visible scars, he said it was because i wanted a high eyelid crease and for the deep set asymmetrical eyelids, he said it was just my anatomy. I am shocked by his deflection and his absurd responses! Due to my chronic excruciating daily pain from Dr. Kopelman's surgery, I will now have to spend additional money I Do Not have to seek an eye specialists for my issues, medications, and treatments. Putting my trust and faith in Dr. Kopelman has been the worse experience and regret of my life!
