Dr. Joelle Abood is an amazing doctor. The first time we met was for a consultation, a week before my surgery. She fit me into her busy schedule in a short timeframe, and she was highly informative about the procedure and had knowledge of my medical history. I went into the appointment with an extensive list of questions, and she answered most of them before I could ask. She explained the procedure in detail and made me feel at ease about having the surgery. During my hospital stay, Dr. Abood came to check on me multiple times and when she could not come, she called Dr. V. Novoa, and PA E. Bigas. This group of surgeons and physicians consisting of Dr. J. Abood, Dr. V. Novoa, and PA E. Bigas were my dream team and each of them made me feel like I was their only patient. Moreover, they were very professional, knowledgeable, informative, sensitive, and caring. Each of these ladies had excellent bedside manners and worked well together to provide the best possible care for me. I would recommend Dr. Abood and her team to everyone, as they showed empathy and concern for me as their patient. I feel like I received the same care from Dr. Abood that she would provide for her own family.
