Negative Review – Dr. John Bacchetta At the end of June, I went in for a routine dental cleaning. They found part of an old filling that had partially come off, but I had absolutely no pain, no sensitivity, and no discomfort. I was advised to schedule an appointment with Dr. Bacchetta to simply restore the missing portion. Unfortunately, within the first 24 hours after the procedure, everything changed for the worse. I began experiencing persistent discomfort and pain when chewing on that side—something I had never felt before. Two weeks later, I returned for a follow-up, but by then the doctor had gone on vacation. When I finally saw him, he claimed something was “too high,” adjusted it, and within four hours the discomfort got even worse. I returned again, and this time, instead of assessing the situation properly, he prescribed me antibiotics unnecessarily, even though I had no infection, no swelling, no fever, and no consistent pain—just discomfort clearly related to the dental work he had done. He referred me to Dr. Levine for a specialist opinion. I called Dr. Levine’s office on Tuesday and was told I would get a callback before Friday. It’s now past that timeframe and no one has contacted me. This entire experience has been marked by poor clinical judgment, lack of communication, and a complete absence of professionalism or ethics. I am now unable to chew on one side of my mouth and left with more problems than I started with. I cannot recommend Dr. Bacchetta based on this experience.
