My insurance approved the removal of 350 grams from each breast, aiming to transition from an F cup to a D cup. During TWO consultations, he assured me that I would achieve my desired D cup while preserving some natural fullness, considering my expected weight loss from exercise. I opted to pay extra for axillary fat removal for improved aesthetics; however, the outcome was disappointing, resulting in one breast being a B cup and the other a C cup, along with asymmetrical areolas and a scar characterized by excessive connective tissue and a bulge of axillary fat on one side. My confidence in Dr. Bates has declined, leading me to pursue corrective surgery with a board-certified reconstructive plastic surgeon which will involve extra costs and recovery time.
