Patient Reviews
Jan 16, 2024
Dr. Pugh is a disgrace to Albany Medical Center. He was the child neurologist that visited with my daughter in the NICU. He made a racist joke regarding his residents and how it would be easy to confuse them based on their race and name. IN FRONT OF THE RESIDENT. He also spoke with us over the phone on a Saturday because he wasn’t coming in until Monday and also “wanted to spend time with his family”. During that phone call he misdiagnosed my daughter with a condition not compatible with life (based on an MRI done in utero, not even an MRI done post natal) and without any explanation stated she would never walk, talk, or have use of her hands. Then told us to have a great weekend. Absolute trash bedside manner and a completely inappropriate way to speak with new parents regarding their one week old baby in the NICU. We got a second option and the doctor stated with no uncertain terms that she did not have this condition. I would not recommend this provider
