I was scheduled for an in-office visit at 11:00am with Dr. Blamoun on 8/4. When I got to his office, his receptionist said he's out with covid but he'll call you so wait in the parking lot and he'll call you within a half hour. Whole concept of sitting in parking lot was bizarre enough but he never called so I went home. At 2:00 pm, he called and asked if I had a sleep study done and/or was I using a CPAP to which I said yes to both. He then said there's nothing he could do but refer me to a cognitive sleep psychiatrist but claimed there weren't any good drs in the QC area, so I'd need to go to IA City. That was the entire conversation. He billed me $145 "office" visit and $98 for his advice. When I called his office to discuss this rip off bill, they said it didn't matter if he saw me in his office or not or whether he could help in any way, that I had to pay for both an "office" visit & doctor's chg. TOTAL RIP OFF! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS GUY AS YOU CAN!
