Dr. Hamilton literally saved my life. I was lined up have surgery with another doctor at a very well established spine clinic back in February 2023, but unbeknownst to me he was not covered by my insurance. I started the search for another surgeon in my network but my sciatic nerve pain worsened literally overnight. I drove myself to the Fairfax ER with no plan in place except the knowledge that I was excruciating pain. Dr. Hamilton took my case with no hesitation. (It also helped that I had a copy of my MRI with me.) My husband had to take an UBER to meet me at the hospital as he had been on work travel, my adult daughter drove up from her home in Norfolk VA to support me. In the words of Joe Biden "it was a big effing deal". I digress. Anyway he performed the necessary surgery/fusion on L4 and L5 of my spine that same day after performing someone's brain surgery and I was good as new. Of course there is recovery, and I had to wear a protective back brace for 3 months. But dagnabbit The Lord used this man to save me from pain that made the births of my 3 now adult children feel like a day at the beach. I have highly recommended this man to friends with neurological issues.
