Dr. John Cloninger III, DDS

Today was my first visit with him and I had been in terrible pain since friday and it was Tuesday. He was angry that I wanted antibiotics prior to extracting an absess. He asked if I wanted an injection in my gums to help ease the pain and I said no thank you. He then said 'So what your saying is your not in pain!' I said, 'Yes I am, and he argued back, no you're not.' He then got up and walked out. On his way out, he said to the assistant just give her pain meds, and an antibiotic. I spoke to 2 different people in his office prior to seeing him and made sure they knew that I only wanted an antibiotic and NOT pain mdication. After he walked out, I was so confused, in pain, and now emotional. I began crying and asked the assistant what had just happened and all she could say was that he thought I wanted an extraction. She never apologized for his behavior... nothingI received my antibiotics but I will never return to their office.
