I saw Dr. Carl just once to follow up on test results done elsewhere. He had clearly reviewed my record and test reports prior to my visit, and gave a very thorough exam, asking a ton of questions along the way--and listening actively. He then requested films and called me personally twice about his opinions and recommended next steps. In the end, he referred me to another surgeon (which turned out to be a wonderful referral). I was very impressed with his caring, professional, personal attention to my case. Just imagine if I'd actually been a surgical patient of his!
