I went to Dr. DiMuro somewhere around 2007. I had a complaint of hip pain. I was in an accident in 1997 and suffered a dislocated hip and the pain was beginning to return. I was scheduled for an MRI and upon returning to his office to hear what the MRI revealed Dr. DiMuro explained to me that my back looked fine. He then went into chastising me on the dangers related to misuse of pain medicines, which I had not even talked about. He then closed with " get busy living or get busy dying." Really?!? A Shawshank Redemption quote from a Dr.??? Flash forward to 2019. I could no longer bear the pain and went to see a Dr. at Tahoe Fracture where I was given the news my hip required a replacement procedure. I thought well that makes alot of sense. Thanks for the speech Dr. Dimuro...not! Just for the record.. in between all those years I never asked any Doctor for any pain meds and only took 8 Percocets after my hip replacement. Egotistical: yes. Accuracy of diagnosis; no.
