His office staff is rude and incompetent. If you ask for something, it takes three attempts. They keep horrible records. I asked three times to change my address as they had the house number incorrect. They never changed it. I was waiting for my insurance approval for an MRI, I was told it would take about three days. Well, two weeks and 3 calls to the office manager later the paperwork for my MRI was finally submitted to my insurance company for approval. ??The last time I was at the office, I asked if I could pay all my co-pays. At that time, I was told I didn’t have a pay a co-pay for my post-op follow-up, so I only had one co-pay, which I paid at the time of that visit. A month later I received a bill (sent again to the incorrect address which I had already asked them to fix). I asked for the correction when I sent in the payment. Then I received another bill from a collection company (because they never changed my address) I don’t know what this was for because at this point I should have paid for all my visits, in addition to the post-op follow-up, which I was told I wouldn’t have to pay. I paid it anyway because I don’t EVER want to deal with them ever again. They can keep the $25.00 Now let’s talk about the doctor. I thought my issue was an OBGYN issue because 20 years ago I had a cyst removed from my right ovary. After an MRI and 2 sonograms, I was diagnosed with having a similar issue on my left ovary. I was scheduled for surgery, and only after being opened up, it was determined that it was not on my ovary, but on my small bowel. He was not qualified to remove it. I’m still wondering how this was missed on an MRI and two sonograms. I had an office visit with Dr. Wagner three days after my initial surgery. He referred me to a GI surgeon (I was reluctant because at this point I didn’t trust his judgment). I looked into the referred doctor’s credentials, and he was well qualified and well-liked. ?At this point Dr. Wagner dismissed me, and I was handed off to the other doctor. I was handed over to the GI surgeon without a two-week follow-up to check the incision. I was no longer his problem. Is it any wonder that I developed an infection in my belly button six days before I was to have my next surgery. Luckily I had a great experience with the GI surgeon. His practitioner gave me antibiotics to clear the infection and I was better in time for my successful G.I. surgery.
