Our experience seeing Dr Berner mirrored Rose’s, he was Sarcastic, disrespectful, paid so little attention to my daughter that he didn’t even realize he was the only Dr who had order anti psychotic for her. First spent less than 40 minute with her and diagnosed her without understanding she was delusional, even tho it was explained to him in the first 10 minutes. But we were so desperate for help and unable to get into see anyone else that we continued to see him for about a year until we found someone caring. Once we found a compassionate Dr with real skills she started getting better immediately, BECAUSE so one was actually listening and caring. I have no idea how any one would give this man A star. He needs a sabbatical and sometime to reflect on his lack of caring, and self awareness. You do not mock the mentally ill who have come for your help. Sadly we are so short of mental health professionals that he can be this awful and get away with it.
