The most kind and respectful doc I’ve ever met. He willingly takes his time to provide complete answers to complex questions. He has been so helpful and completed my esophagus surgery on one try after multiple tries to help improve my condition. I loved that his last question to me was can you think of any other questions and this was after his explanation of the complex procedure to fix my esophagus. I was nothing but impressed and would definitely recommend him to anyone who fits within his wide range of procedures. This guy is a genius and has even been kind enough to allow me to do follow ups with a similar doctor up in the mountains that keeps me from having to deal with a very long drive to Denver which is no fun because of my disability that has left my joints, all of them, with very limited joint space with a lot of bone on bone rubbing. Heck, Dr. Schoen even asked how he could help me so I wouldn’t be in as much pain as I could be lying on the OR table and be miserable after.
