I have diagnosed endometriosis and as part of my treatment plan I like to check my hormone levels to make sure I’m keeping it at bay (normal right?) I went yo Jordan to ask if I could get a lab done on Hormone levels. What he told me without hesitation was: “that’s a waste of time because even if we did do it, I wouldn’t know how to read it. So it’s really not worth my time” when I insisted he then told me “this is all just a tick tock trend” (he told me that!! I don’t even have tick tock. But that must be where he got his news from).He then asked why I was so adamant and I said “because my hormones affect my every day life” he proceeds to tell me that they don’t and he knows nothing about them. Sir you are a doctor!! Hormones are important! I take my health very seriously and will never be going back to Jordan. I hope you don’t either and have to experience the medical gaslighting that he is a part of. I have never felt more uncomfortable being in front of someone so ignorant.
