Over and above would never be an attribute used to describe this guy. My daughter was a patient of his, and on a few occasions had an acute need to speak with him (one that involved a hospital visit). Each time, he was slow to respond, having his office assistant call and no sense of urgency in the matter. Office visits weren't much better. He lacks an empathetic demeanor required in this profession.
