Dr. Joseph Alleva is incredibly knowledgeable & takes time to answer all my questions. He is a very skilled & compassionate professional & he genuinely cares for his patients. I’m very grateful for his medical care & attention.

I was rescheduled 3 times with severe hip pain. Waited a month total with rescheduling only to be denied again due to lack of MRI results. Imaging center faxed my results one week prior, but his staff claims they do not have it. No attempt by him nor staff to recover results in order for me to receive medical care. Simply another visit 2 weeks out suffering will have to do. No sense of urgency or compassion from him. Spoke to me as if I was incompetent and strolled me aside for rescheduling. At every attempted visit prior, I was told I needed something else, or the injection needed to be ordered. So I wasn't treated at any time. After sending a complaint message, the doctor claims he never knew what I was coming in for nor knew my medical history. Nothshore Health systems runs under one system. So, yes, he could see my medical record. Front staff at Skokie office did not show kindness either. Very depressing when I thought this doctor could help me.
