This is my first Psychiatry doctor. Before being referred to Dr. Rodriguez, I already knew that he would show-up after 6pm. In fact, most of the people I found there already knew that fact. Why people go there at noon? I have no idea. I went around 5pm, already had dinner and coffee, so I was prepared. My turn came around 8:45pm (yes, night shift). However, I am so glad I stayed. He listened actively, asked questions without being rude. Actually, he guided me to give details necessary for treatment and I felt comfortable. I am still taking medication but at every visit, he evaluates how the meds are working. But better yet, he sorts of make me take a look at myself to reflect on my health, my attitude and, compare what should I have done better. I decided not to retire from work thank to him, as I accepted that I can't change other people but I can change how I respond to them. Yep, every visit I leave at night, but I am glad I found this doctor. Better late than never.
