My son needed an evaluation for a tonsillectomy. Dr. Lieu listened, asked my 7 yo son questions, and took great notes (I read them in my chart). She made a recommendation based on his answers, her evaluation, and experience. She was thorough, to the point, and explained why she was making the recommendation and what to expect after his procedure. I would certainly recommend to friends. In fact, she was recommended by another friend whose dr had a family emergency on her surgery day. Dr Lieu stepped it, and performed the surgery and adapted her usual method to accommodate what they patients had planned with the other physician.
