Initial office visit was good and informative. She suggested an upper endoscopy. Following the procedure Dr. Wanta stopped into post-op and said everything was fine. 'Keep taking antacids', she said, and left the room. No talk about follow up or other preventative measures to take for the problem. Procedure test results came back in 2 weeks and not one single live person contacted me. I had to check the Duly portal to see what the results were. Thankfully nothing wrong. However, symptoms still persisted. Dr. did not contact me about results or to see how I was, or to speak about lifestyle changes, review current medications, vitamins and supplements, or anything moving forward. As if she had done her part and that was it. I left Duly a few years ago for reasons told to me by a nurse that would suggest that doctors were instructed to get patients in and out as quickly as possible. Why did I go back? Dr. Wanta was the only gastro doctor in the area who had an opening in an urgent time.
