My daughter went to her because she had at that time unexplained pain. Dr. Yamamoto made her feel completely uncomfortable with questions about sexual interest and orientation. Her questions had nothing to do with the pain my daughter was experiencing and she completely missed the diagnosis that another Pediatric Rheumatologist later confirmed. She made my daughter feel like her pain was a mental issue (caused by depression, which she didn't have) and that was the farthest thing from the truth. Too many doctors misdiagnose issue when they try to make the patients feel as if it is all in their heads and that is exactly how Dr. Yamamoto made my daughter feel.
