Finding Dr. Barbosa was a Godsend. I had initially seen Dr. Diana Dickson-Witmer and was not pleased with her demeanor or lack of compassion. Because I was upset with the diagnosis of breast cancer she indicated that I had an anxiety disorder as part of my diagnosis. When I tried to find out what to expect about the appearance of my breast after surgery, all she would tell me is that my breast would look different. Dr Barbosa was the exact opposite. She explained everything thoroughly and gave me a comfort level that I did not get from Dr Dickson Witmer. Dr. Barbosa is an oncoplastic breast surgeon who brings innovative techniques and progressive ideas to her practice. I had a very good result despite some complicating factors. She is warm and caring and truly a strong advocate for her patients.
