How likely are you to recommend Dr. Marcus?
Total sham. I have a rare condition in her expertize. I had PTSD I was not told that. I had a symptom and that symptom was why I saw her. She did not enlighten. Her notes said I have non-epileptic seizures and catatonia and she was observing them. Her notes also say she told me I do not know what a non-epileptic seizure is. I was asked to try several medications. She said I was resistive and unwilling. I was not resistive, I already tried them, and was clear why they were ineffective. Asking questions about one I haven't tried was 'resistive' and would have only achieved sedating me into oblivion and doesn't play well with several of my meds. She seems to think she is the worlds best imagry teacher, it has never worked, I'm having an anxiety crisis, but yes, try and teach me to use your safe place and not make me mad. She also seems clueless that I am very accurately describing a highly technical set of symptoms perfectly without technical terms. (non-epileptic seizures, catalepsy)
