Doctor Karen Zempolich and her PA, Lindsay Janke are phenomenal. I think when it comes to decisions regarding your health, you want a doctor who is truly an expert in the space both technically and in medicine and craft. Doctor Zempolich is an expert doctor/surgical oncologist, one of the best in the discipline and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to operate on me. Her and Lindsay removed an almost 3 lb tumor for me and from day one, I felt safe and knew Doctor Zempolich would know what to do and help me recover. I never expect great bedside manner with doctors as I’m more concerned about whether or not they can treat my condition in addition to how good of a technical surgeon they are in these cases especially with tumor resections. This becomes a very important factor when it comes to a patient’s mental health to have a team that supports your well-being beyond just the surgical resection of a tumor or any condition you’re trying to fight physically. It’s not always expected, but it is definitely an important bonus not only as a doctor/surgeon/oncologist treating serious conditions, but someone who understands human emotions and that battling these types of conditions are usually incredibly difficult for the patient. This seems to come naturally for Doctor Zempolich and her team which makes a world of a difference in your treatment plan, experience, and surgical experience/outcome post-op. Not only did Doctor Zempolich and Lindsay provide an incredibly positive clinical experience for me, they performed an absolute perfect gross total resection in my case and I have the most BEAUTIFUL scar from a near 5 inch incision that is near invisible. I was speechless seeing how perfect I was stitched up and left feeling a sense of relief that though it was a large incision, that it will likely heal beautifully to the point that I won’t even be able to see it. Most importantly is their technical expertise and ability to perform complex surgeries and obtain gross total resections for the best care and treatment you can obtain and their top-of-line expertise in surgical oncology. This team is next-level and I would recommend and trust my life over and over again with Doctor Zempolich and Lindsay. Their entire team truly bends over backwards to ensure you’re taken care of each step of the way and they are genuinely interested in ensuring your best recovery. I am incredibly grateful to have had both of them operate on me and help me battle my condition and win.
