I’ve been with Dr. Harpe for a couple years now, and she’s absolutely fantastic. She listens to every concern, takes time to talk through everything that I bring to her, has no problem running labs if I have a specific concern, and just approaches everything she does with care, consideration, kindness, and humor. I’m someone with multiple chronic conditions that have contributed to weight gain, and so I’m used to being dismissed by doctors (even though many of my issues existed before the weight). Dr. Harpe has never been like that. The first time we talked about my weight was when I brought it up. She has always taken everything that I say seriously, and she’s very good at explaining complex concepts in simpler terms. She’s also very good about referring me to other physicians when I need it & sort of orchestrating my care amongst them all. I waited 9 months to see her for the first time - and she was worth every month of the wait.
