Goes above and beyond and is all knowing I feel. Saved and supported me in ways I had never experienced with any other doctor. Had that professional and comfortable way of creating a safe space but also truthful of facts and difficulties. Great at keeping me accountable but also understanding and just really has a perfect balance!!! It's important to have that balance when dealing with substance abuse and addiction because guilt feeds addiction however if you are not truthful and honest it can also have a sort enabling effect without meaning to. She's absolutely great and a life saver and creative in her care. She is empowering when it comes to addiction and does a great job of accountability on both ends of the doctor/patient relationship. Will not deny help or care if specific things are needed but approaches so cautiously and cares very much about being sure that you're not denied care but also that you're not risking relapse by receiving that care. The fact that she's even willing to spend the time and care enough to do that is more than what a lot of doctors are willing to take on. It's difficult to describe but I do feel she is a pioneer of addiction therapy/prenatal care in women and it's just what I needed at the time when little was know or fully understood at the time.
