I was admitted in the hospital for chest pains and shortness of breath and afib. He explained everything to me. First off another cardiologist which was also great tried a procedure called a Cardioversion to shock my heart back to normal but it didn’t go well. I was still in afib. That’s when I met my new best friend Dr. Suarez. I was sad because the first procedure didn’t go as planned. So he explained to me about another procedure where I would have what’s called a AICD implantatied. He explained everything that I needed to know to me and my mom. He was there every step of the way. Even in the operating room he was still so polite and asked me if I had any more questions. He’s the best in my book. I feel better no more feeling faint from the afib. No more rapid heartbeat . I drive one hour to get to his office. He will always be my new best friend.
