I had been seen by the office for over 2 years. I was told when I did my preventative teeth cleanings that flouride treatment was not covered by my insurance. (FYI-Dentist offices are able to look up your benefits on-line). So I would pay out of pocket for my flouride treatment at the time of service. Twice a year. Then I was billed for a preventative teeth cleaning that says this provider was out-of-network. The office asked me a couple questions regarding my insurance and said they would check out being in-network. I had a second preventative teeth cleaning for the year and asked the office if they participated with my insurance. They said yes. I reminded them of the problem we had last time of out-of-network, and they said they participated. I then received a bill saying they were out-of-network.
