I was talked down to, told my problems were anxiety (they were not), and she put her hand on my knee which I can't stand. I was prescribed anxiety meds for what turned out to be POTS. Almost everything she wrote in my chart was incorrect and opinionated.She said I asked for indefinite leave when I only asked for the following day off (she said no). I left crying, which she also attributed to anxiety and bipolar disorder. I learned what the term 'medical gaslighting' was after this visit. Absolutely horrible experience, and unfortunately too common with chronic pain disorders. No doctor should every approach their patient as though they're lying from the start.
