I am the guardian of a 72 year old woman. This woman fell and broke off the shoulder ball joint from the humerus which was confirmed with X-rays. Dr. Dood sent her home in a sling and would not prescribe and pain medication. He told me to give her acetaminophen, not ibuprofen, because that would impair healing. Consequently, she had to endure that pain for 10 days while waiting for an appointment with the orthopedic doctor. The orthopedic doctor was shocked to find out that he did not prescribe her anything for pain.
