In all my decades of having annual physicals, I have never had one as thorough as with Dr. Peterson. Past physicals merely entailed a blood pressure check, and giving blood for analysis of cholesterol #'s, thyroid, etc. But with Dr. Peterson it was completely different. We spoke at length about any medical issues that could be worrying me, we reviewed which supplements she recommended, she asked about my diet and exercise routine as well as which annual check-ups I get regularly and preventative screenings. She did a breast exam and checked the thyroid gland in my neck. She took really took her time with me. I mentioned that last year I had a Calcium Score test and she told me it uses high radiation and to not re-take it for several years. I also conveyed my frustration at not being able to find a good cardiologist who accepts new patients, she then referred me to one and I got an appointment right away. Dr. Peterson is simply amazing and I am thrilled to be her patient.
