Patient Reviews
May 07, 2023
Was a patient for years until today. They treat you like a number. Do NOT use their portal to ask for help. They will label you a problem patient. Don’t try to call them, because you wait on hold for 20 plus minutes. You have to answer when they call, or you are labeled a problem patient. Don’t ask if you can start being seen by the ACTUAL GI, And not his Nurse Practioner, because they will drop you as a patient. Don’t ask why prescriptions were stopped. They stop them without notification and can’t tell you why, other than “interactions exist”. When you’re in pain with a necrotic colon, do not message them for help. You are supposed to go without nausea meds, when chronically ill. Even if you are vomitting and in bed all day, don’t call them. They will tell you to go to the ER. Don’t ask any questions in their portal, or ask questions about treatment in the portal. Don’t offer suggestions. And please make sure you have your own medical degree because they sure like to make you respsonible for your own care, including medications compounded, IV therapy and nutritional assiatnce. They are real good at setting a patient plan, but don’t always follow thru. They dropped me today because I didn’t answer their calls when they called and because I sent too many messages. And the best part, Dr. Comar, the GI assigned to me (who is VP of Borland Groover) didn’t have the professionalism to respond to my messages or contact me, he had his office manager fire me. Huge red flag. Patient abandonment at its finest. They are too big to handle their patients as anything but a number. You will be treated as a textbook case. BEWARE!
