This year Dr. Brisnehan replaced my primary care Doctor, who had retired, at IntraCare. I had been going to this practice for more than 20 years. I have been taking prescriptions prescribed by the former Doctor for years and the dose has been stable for some time now. Dr. Brisneham requested that I have blood work done before refilling my prescriptions, which is normal.I made the appointment and when I arrived, in July, they informed me, as of a few weeks ago, they no longer accepted my insurance, but never contact me. I asked if they would renew the prescription because I had no refills left, the answer was no, I would need to pay out of pocket for an appointment. They would not help me by renewing my prescriptions. I'm now scrambling to find a new Doctor so I can get my prescriptions refilled. This process take a considerable amount of time.
