Through seeing Dr. Shams for 4 yrs, he still couldn't get my name correct so I just accepted my new name after correcting him every visit to no avail. When I left the state and needed a copy of my medical records to take to a new Dr, I found all kinds of errors. Important errors! While seeing him, I thought he understood me but after reading my records, he either never truly understood my issues or he is a poor record keeper. I'm really not sure which it is. But he was good at writing rxes which is really all I needed. But an inaccurate medical record could cause serious and dangerous problems for a person. If you have kids or a job you depend on or need to get social security going, I wouldn't depend on his records and may cause a person problems!
