Unproductive, costly, and unempathetic appointment.Dr. Krishna did not greet me during start of the session, smile or nod his head or show any body language or any other sign of emotional responsiveness during the session. He made no effort to ask pertinent questions or explore potential treatment options other than getting a prescription, which he didn't discuss beyond mentioning, unprompted, that he couldn't legally prescribe it yet (???). He didn't even mention how the medications work or their potential harm or benefit for my situation. I've never had a medical professional begin and end a talk about treatment options with just the ethical obligations they're under. I want to think that's a given. At no point in the appointment did I indicate I was under the impression that I 'wanted' treatment, and I did not feel comfortable with the implication that his dismissal of this discussion on the basis felt like it was just based on assumptions about me as a POC patient.
