I had severe vision loss, and it made me anxious when I was in unfamiliar surroundings. When I went to see Dr. Krishna Shanmugam (AKA Dr. K) at BCS Eye Associates, I was not able to see anything that wasn’t about a foot from my face. I had a wonderful, pleasant experience from the moment that I walked into his office. Everyone- from the receptionist to the technicians- were wonderfully kind. When I met Dr. K , I was instantly put at ease and calmed down. He exudes calmness and capability. Dr. K. took the time to answer all my questions, no matter how big or small. When I had my surgeries, he put me at ease, and I was calm despite my original anxiety about the process. His surgical staff is amazing. I am now able to see. I would recommend him to anyone with eye problems. Thank you, Dr. K. You are a wonderful doctor and an amazing, caring person.

My mom's vision had gotten to the point where she could barely see anything. We were scared that surgery might not be an option, but Dr. Krishna Shanmugam (Dr. K) at BCS Eye Associates was confident that he could help her. He was wonderfully kind and thorough, and made sure to answer all of our questions. He never rushed her, and his gentle and caring demeanor put her at ease during what could have been a traumatic experience. Despite her being a tough case, Dr. K successfully restored my mom's vision. I could not be more thankful for Dr. K. His skill as a surgeon and his compassion for people is unmatched.
