My daughter has been going to North Pointe Pediatrics since she was born. Her other doctor moved on so I had to choose a new doctor and they gave me Dr, Rice. She was extremely unfriendly to my daughter, shamed HER for still taking daily naps when she is only 4 years old, and then proceeded to tell me “make sure she’s running around and playing outside since she’s up there in the 69th percentile in weight. My daughter is not nor has never been chubby or overweight. She then continued to ask how much milk she’s drinking every day because that might be the culprit to her weight! Again, my daughter is not overweight. She is extremely healthy. I felt judged and ridiculed the moment she walked in the door. Dr. Rice also had an attitude, and I noticed her MA clammed up the moment she was in the room with us, we did my daughter. I refuse to see this doctor again, and am even considering changing offices all together.
