I waited 6 weeks for this appointment. I was clear when I made my new patient appointment the reason for my visit. Sadly it seemed she had zero experience in the matter. After an hour appointment, where she was completely dismissive to my current symptoms, she referred me to psychologytoday.com to find another provider. She had a checklist of questions, which I understand, but didn?t seem able to stray from her little checklist and treat the patient in front of her. After the appointment, I did a little more research into her, learning she does not specialize in the area of my need. I?m not sure why after reading my intake form, she didn?t cancel the appointment and refer me out PRIOR to an appointment knew she didn?t have the experience to handle. I?m now stuck with this bill and am starting completely over with absolutely no help. As a side not she seems to have zero personality. She spoke in a totally monotone voice and seemed mostly disinterested to be there.
