Saw Dr. Bethel in the ED. She did a very cursory history and no exam. She ordered some tests which later turned out to be inappropriate. She tried to discharge me, but I convinced her to order a consult, though she objected and said it wasn't necessary. The consultant correctly diagnosed the issue and brought me for immediate surgery. Would definitely avoid her if possible (tricky in an ED where you can't easily control who sees you).
