Dr. Anderson and the team at Proliance provided exceptional service from the beginning. After a previous misdiagnosis by another provider, Dr. Anderson identified the actual problem through X-ray/mri. I had a scaphoid nonunion with avascular necrosis (a broken bone that never healed and was dying from a lack of blood flow). Dr. Anderson made the two surgical options very clear, and helped me make a decision based on my lifestyle expectations. He was very upfront about the potential for an unsuccessful surgery. However, it’s been 10 weeks since the vascularized bone graft operation, and I found out today my scaphoid is completely healed with new bone. I have a long road of physical therapy ahead of me, but I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Anderson for solving the real issue.
