Nurse practitioner did all the initial history and plan of treatment. When Dr. Appau finally came in to see my family member he repeated what we already knew from the nurse practitioners visit. After testing he rounded on my family member and was unprepared. He led off the conversation with completely wrong information. After getting on the computer he told us the correct information. No apology for giving the wrong information. When questioned about other test results he didn't know. You would have thought he would have been prepared and had results for all testing that was done at the same time. He told us he would finish rounding on his patients and then look at the results. He expected the nursing staff to give us the results. There will be no follow up care with Dr. Appau. It's hard to put confidence in a stranger especially when you feel like a number and wrong information is given to you.
