Dr. Nethercott was friendly and explained what was going on with my ankle and explained my options. We decided to try a cortisone injection which was nearly painless. We talked about surgery if that becomes necessary and he spent a lot of time explaining the importance of timing for surgery with regard to my age. Most of all, he said he will help me restore my ankle one way or another, with the goal being to eventually have a fully functional and pain free ankle. That was a few months ago. So, Dr. Nethercott, I will be returning very soon to talk about the next steps because as I suspected, the cortisone shot did not last long. See ya soon!
