Ultimately, she was fine while I saw her for my pregnancy and I wouldn’t write a review if it hadn’t been for a particular incident. If you want individualized care, she’s strictly by the book. She would not consider letting me deliver when the baby was ready to come (wanted to induce at 41 wks despite a maternal history of healthy 42+ week pregnancies) and would not consider retesting gbh to potentially avoid antibiotics if unnecessary. Next time I’ll know what to ask up front, but it wasn’t until the end of my pregnancy that I was trapped with unwanted options unless I jumped ship at the last minute. The issue I had was with a follow up visit I made after delivery to talk about an epidural nerve injury. I couldn’t abduct my right leg and had fallen a couple times. I was intensely overwhelmed about it as a new mom who wanted to be able to move well to take care of a new baby. When I described the symptoms to FN, she laughed at me. Like, you’re really complaining about this? It hurt.
