She was not my normal PCP. I was given an appt with her when I begged for someone to figure out why I was dizzy and passing out. Only good thing this doctor did was send me to a cardiologist and that cardiologist knew to take me off my blood pressure medication immediately. Dr. Grimes also sent me for bloodwork. My potassium came back low and she told me to eat a banana. After switching practices and being sent to Boston for testing- I learned I have POTS. My body doesn’t hold onto electrolytes and eating a banana wasn’t going to solve that.
