We wanted to see Dr. Johnson, but she was too busy so we had to see another NP in her office. My husband had a back injury and was in terrible pain. We needed pain meds, anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxers. After we answer the 100's of questions regarding alcohol and drinking habits (WEIRD) we get back to see Angie. She informs us that her type of license doesn't allow her to prescribe pain medications! WOW, that would have been key information to relay when we made the appt and shared that my husband was in severe pain! She then tells us to even get anti-inflammatories or muscle relaxants, he has to have blood work done. But he had coffee that morning so sorry, can't do labs today. Go home and continue in pain for another night, come back tomorrow, we'll see what we can do. We left, headed directly to Valley Immediate Care. They did x-rays, gave a referral, and gave us all the meds we needed on the spot. If you want proper care ASAP, go elsewhere. Office manager is rude also.
