Patient Reviews

Despite being the renowned psychiatrist in the realm of eating disorders, she was utterly unprofessional and unethical. She enabled interaction with my toxic sister, Naomi who herself had an eating disorder and abused me for years. When my older sister came to the hospital to take me out on an outing after I left her a message telling her not to come, I asked her to leave, but she did not acquiesce to my request and stayed and had a session with McKnight, complaining what a “difficult child” I was, which was breach of doctor-relationship trust on McKnight’s end. McKnight also misdiagnosed me as an individual that should be institutionalized for life, which had been outdated model of care for people with disabilities since the 70s as activists pushed for social inclusion. For all who encounter Lenore McKnight, RUN! If you or a family member has an ED, do not choose McKnight as your provider.
