We had 3 visits at Dr. Palmer's for my son, who is now 6. Our first 2 visits went well, but our 3rd was very problematic. My son was there for a routine cleaning but voiced that his teeth were hurting. The dental staff did not stop to see if he was ok, rather seemed annoyed and told him that there was "no way" he could be in pain and that he needed to remain still. His x-rays took an incredibly long time to complete (between 10-15 minutes), and at no time did any staff discuss with my son what was happening or why he needed to bite strange objects in his mouth for the x-ray. I did my best to explain to him what was happening, but am very uncomfortable with how this facility cared for him. The dentist came in for only a moment at the end, and expected me to agree to a treatment plan without having time to think about any options or discussing with my husband. I am still unclear where my son needed additional care done. We ended up leaving in tears- I strongly recommend parents consider other dental practices for their children.
