I went from osteopenia to moderate to severe osteoporosis in 1 year under the care of Lindsay Chong MD. After being on bone medications including Denosumab for years, ordered by my doctor who passed away, I switched to Lindsay Chong. That was a huge mistake as she decided to put me on a 'Medication Holiday' for 1 year without proper monitoring. T he results were devastating, Moderate to Severe Osteoporosis of both femurs and extremely high fracture risk. Her deviation from standard protocol had detrimental consequences as my bone condition rapidly worsened due to rebound complications from withholding Denosumab for 1 year. I have since changed doctors and if I were you, I'd run as far away from her as possible. She had no idea how to treat my osteopenia and I'm left grappling with the repercussions of her poor judgment and decision.
