I was referred to Dr. Lindsay Mae Chandler by a friend who had two successful surgeries with her. It took months for staff at Foot & Ankle Concepts to call me to schedule a hammertoe surgery. I should have taken it as a sign and stop pursuing the matter after 2 months. Eventually, Dr. Chandler did the surgery and it was a very traumatic failed surgery. This happened almost 3 years ago and I am still in constant pain. My post surgery and recovery were a nightmare. It was an avoidable traumatic surgery. Dr. Chandler did not act with necessary diligence and empathy for the failed outcome of the surgery. At one point, during a follow up appointment, because I was experiencing so much pain and discomfort, she told me that I should consider another surgery to repair the toes or to have my toes amputated. That was my last appointment with her.
